With a convenient location, next to the A690 and just off the A1(M), the hotel offers comfortable en suite accommodation, a Thai restaurant, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Situated between the A1(M) and the A19, the Highfield Hotel is just off the A690, between Sunderland and Durham. The city centres of both Durham and Sunderland are less than 10 miles (16 km) away and the shops of the Metro Centre in Gateshead are only a 20-minute drive away.
