School Hill Croft is a very special special 200 year old home which has an unbeatable character, ambience and location. Oozing character the house which has been lovingly refurbished is in a slightly elevated position which offers superb uninterrupted views of the famous Cathedral & historic town. Just a stones throw to the local shops & restaurants, you can also be on the first tee in a 5 minute walk and the beach just another 5 minutes passed the club house.
Owners are always available by email & phone, when they are not in the village the cleaner is available for any unscheduled help at the house.
Around 100 meters from the first shop but elevated giving vies and a sense of space. Close enough to hear the bag pipes when the pipe band plays but far enough away to not be bothered by people leaving the interesting shops, pubs and restaurants. The Royal Dornoch Golf Club is around 5 minutes walk and the beech about 5 minutes past there. Walks in any direction from the croft & the Dornoch Heritage Trail is a bit of a gem for which guides can usually be found at the wee History Links Museum. Along with independent food shops there is a COOP mini supermarket so no real need to leave the town, although on the other side of the estuary a Tesco, Morrisons, LIDL & B&M can be found in Tain. A private EV charger at the property and a petrol station just a few miles away where the Dornoch road joins the A9 & NC500. Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, golf, beech & woods. EV charger - At School Hill Croft Petrol Station at A9. Bus station 2 minutes from croft.
