New Holgate is a stylish hotel concept featuring 12 beautifully styled rooms with attached bathroom, with sophisticated dining options and lounge areas, including a Whiskey Lounge. Originally built in 1848, what was once a traditional townhouse now features raw elements and finishes among original features. Timeless details, vibrant colors and fabrics have also been added, to truly honor the story behind the guest house. New Holgate is just a 10-minute walk from the historic city center and less than a mile away from the medieval City Walls. York Minster is one mile from the property and Jorvik Viking Center just a 15-minute walk away. York Railway Station is also just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
