Keppochhill is the perfect balance of peaceful village retreat and central Scotland adventure. The house itself is a carefully curated sanctuary where you can put your cares aside. The village of Banton is the perfect location to relax and enjoy good food, quiet surroundings and a warm welcome, whilst the local area beckons you to explore. Renovating Keppochhill has been a 5 year labour of love and we are over the moon to be sharing it with you.
Dylan lives just around the corner and is on hand to make sure everything is as you expect it to be. He is always happy to have a chat, help with any questions or leave you in peace to enjoy your stay.
Banton is a quiet and lovely village where the loudest noises are the birds. ‘The Swan’ pub-restaurant is just across the road and is open Friday to Monday. It’s popular so if you want to go for a meal there it’s worth booking in advance. For drinks and snacks you can just pop in. The newly refurbished play park, is only a few minutes walk away. As is a small woodland, tennis courts (with payment into an honesty box) and the bowling club. There’s also fantastic walks from the door and the highlights of central Scotland are all in easy reach. Banton has an hourly bus service which operates Mon-Sat linking Falkirk to Kilsyth. The nearest train station is Croy which is a 12 minute drive away. Most guests arrive here by car although a few have cycled or walked up from the Forth & Clyde Canal or John Muir way. There’s lots of walks from the door and around the village which we’re always happy to tell you about.
