Neighbourhood information

Banff was once a county town and is now a Royal Burgh; in 1324, Robert the Bruce granted it a charter. The town is renowned for its exceptional architecture and has been named an Outstanding Conservation Area. The top portion of the town is home to Georgian architecture, one of many different architectural types that can be seen throughout Banff. The village of Banff Harbour presently features a marina and recreational harbour, as well as sand beaches, stores, and seafood eateries. The Deveron Valley's Duff House, which was constructed between 1735 and 1740, is regarded as one of Britain's best Georgian homes.
