Just moments from the peaceful shores of Lochcarron the cottage offers an idyllic setting for your visit to the Highlands, making a perfect base for touring or just relaxing.

Neighbourhood information

The village facilities are all within an easy walk and include a Spar Shop for everyday supplies, Lochcarron Garage for fuel on the doorstep (always of benefit in the highlands) and eating out at one of the three popular restaurants; there are also other hotels and restaurants in the near vicinity of Lochcarron as well as in surrounding villages such as Kishorn, Applecross, Shieldaig and Strathcarron. The local area provides outstanding opportunities for seeing the highlands at their best including the fabulous scenery and wildlife. The local walks suit all abilities and if you would like some local assistance then guided walks and sea tours are available. Alternatively a quiet exploration of the long established Attadale Estate Gardens with its sculpture collection and historic rhododendron collection makes a worthwhile afternoon outing. Whilst in the highlands it is also fun to watch a local game of Shinty and cheer on the local Lochcarron team. Golf is of course available with a 9 hole course on the Loch shore providing stunning views, there is also a pleasant tea room for refreshments afterwards.
