We are a small family run company which started with one property and a love of renovation and design. We wanted to share our family holiday house with others and were amazed by the feedback and the number of holidays we were able to host. Especially coming out of lockdown we were able to host so many family reunions and UK staycations. Managing our one property very quickly grew to helping others manage their own properties, and now we have a high-quality selection of homes across the UK, and every month we seem to be growing. Our focus is always ensuring you have the most enjoyable and hassle-free trip. Our properties are in some of our favourite places, so we have loads of local recommendations for you. We are based in Yorkshire and Glasgow, but we have local teams by each of our properties who are all great and more than happy to help should you need it! Bauhinia House is a secluded family retreat on the exclusive Lower Mill Estate, sleeping up to 11 guests. Set within a private gated complex, it offers access to fantastic amenities, including a spa and indoor pool. Designed for comfort and convenience, the home features five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious lounge—perfect for relaxing or entertaining. An ideal escape for families and groups seeking a memorable getaway. • Spacious 5 bedroom home which sleeps 11 • 3 bathrooms • Located in Orchid Village, a gated complex on the estate • Two allocated car spaces • Balconies overlooking the lake. • Spa, indoor pool and activity access onsite • Log burner • Family friendly • BBQ Second Floor: Open plan kitchen living area: TV, Sonos sound system, Blu-ray DVD player. Balcony access with sun loungers and seating. Kitchen: hob, oven, dishwasher, washer-dryer and wine fridge. Access to balcony with BBQ and dining table with bench. Dining Area: Dining table seating 8. Access to balcony deck with egg chair. First Floor Master Bedroom: King bed, freestanding bath, built in wardrobe, TV and ensuite with a toilet sink and shower. Fifth Bedroom: Bunk bed with single bed on top and double bed at the bottom, en-suite with toilet, sink and bath with shower overhead. Balcony access with egg chair. Ground Floor: First Bedroom: Double sized bed and built in wardrobe. Second Bedroom: Double bedroom with double bed, built in wardrobe. Access to the rear deck and lawn. Third Bedroom: Double sized bed and build in wardrobe. Access to the outdoor deck and lawn. Family Shower Room: toilet, wash hand basin and shower. Outdoor: private walled garden wrapping around three sides of the house. In-ground trampoline and wooden bike and boot rack. NOT PET FRIENDLY!

Neighbourhood information

There is ample parking at Bauhinia House, there are two allocated parking spaces for the home, plus numerous overflow carparks in proximity. There are also multiple electric car charging points across the Estate. Please note the Lower Mill Estate is a nature reserve and has strict rules about noise and loud parties. Loud noise is not allowed on the estate after 10pm and this is enforced by security. Stag and Hen parties are not allowed. The Spa and most other Estate facilities are complementary but please note they are separate entities and not owned or managed by the owner. This means the owner is not responsible or liable if the Spa or other Estate facilities are closed or restricted or unavailable during your stay. Please note the spa does not provide towels so if you wish to use the spa or pools, please bring towels from home with you. You can book the tennis courts by adding your name to the clipboard by the court. We have a travel cot and highchair on site, please contact us before your trip to arrange the setup. (Travel cot bedding not provided and only a standard travel cot mattress).
