Wake up to the sound of nature in your very own luxury canvas bell tent complete with a king size bed and linen, perfect for a romantic couples getaway!
Just next to the Offa’s Dyke Path and on the banks of the River Teme, Panpwnton Farm is about as close to Wales as it’s possible to be without actually being in Wales (although as the border’s just a couple of hundred metres away you can easily flit between the two nations as you wish…)
That location of course makes this a prime pick for anyone making their way along the entirety of the Offa’s Dyke Path – but there’s plenty of walking (and cycling too) to be done nearby for folk who aren’t up for such long-distance ventures. The farm is in the southern stretches of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (10 minutes' drive from Llanfair Waterdine), where lots of scenic trails await, and you can also try out shorter stretches of Glyndwr’s Way, another major trail on the Welsh side of the border.
There’s pretty rural scenery all around the farm, but you’ll not be stranded miles from civilisation – in fact it’s only about a mile to the small town of Knighton for pubs, eateries, shops and a railway station.
