Company information

Hi there, my name is Neil Kirby and i am the General Manager of the Savoy in Skegness. I have worked within the hotel industry for over 20 years, starting off as a waiter during summer holidays whilst at school and university. Having enjoyed my time as a waiter so much, i decided that after i finished my Geography degree at university i would pursue a career in hotels full time and within 5 years i was given my first management role. My family are from the Skegness area and when the opportunity at the Savoy came along 15 years ago i could not wait to get started. During my time at the Savoy the property has been totally refurbished and now offers a modern style with a very high standard of decoration and service levels to match the impressive surroundings. I have met some wonderful people who i consider to be more than just guests who stay at the Savoy. I have seen a large increase in the amount of visitors to Skegness, which as a massive supporter of the town, is great to witness. I love living by the sea and enjoy walking along the beach. In my spare time i enjoy a round of golf and spending time with my family.
