Company information

We are Tom and Paula the owners of Schooner Point Guest House. We took over the property in November 2016. Over the recent closed period we have totally renovated and redecorated the property, including building a sun deck out the front of the property, so that our guests can enjoy the spectacular views over the Estuary and across to East Looe.

Property information

Our property was built in the 1930's and has spectacular views over the estuary to the front and the town and sea to the side. These views are afforded us due to our hillside position with steps to the front and rear of the property, this may not be suitable to those with mobility issues. Although parking is not available through this site it is possible to drop off any luggage before parking. The Mill Pool Car Park is over the road from the Guest House at a reasonable cost for 24 hours, or is free between 18.00-09.00. We have recently renovated the breakfast room to expose the original wooden floor and have decorated to incorporate the colours of the seaside. Please make sure that you read the important information section for access statement.

Neighbourhood information

Looe is a thriving and very picturesque Cornish fishing town with plenty to do. Whether you wish to spend your days on the beach, browsing in the shops, crabbing in the estuary, walking the coastal paths, enjoying the many bars and restaurants or watching the catch come in, you are sure to have a wonderful time. Looe has its own railway station to connect you to the rest of Cornwall so you don't even have to drive.
