The Shepherds Barn is a beautifully formed space to lay your weary head. Opened in June 2016 it has been transformed from an old barn into a beautiful, cleverly designed space. Enter a sweeping drive of a 17th Century brick and flint farmhouse and peaking out from the side you will see the Shepherds Barn. Enter through the bi-folding doors to make the most of the stunning view to up to the mighty Kingley Vale. You will be welcomed with a seriously cool hamper with stunning local produce to help you relax into the beautiful surroundings. If there’s a nip in the air, you can light the cosy woodburner and settle into the night. If there’s a remarkable sunset, sit outside on the cleverly created wooden deck and admire the view with some nice heat and light. There’s a fully equipped kitchen or order a delicious takeaway, or it’s a mile or so to the fantastic White Horse at Chilgrove or Royal Oak at East Lavant (a Tatler favourite) for a delicious lunch or supper. There’s a luxurious bathroom with a huge rainfall shower with underfloor heating and soft, fluffy white company towels. Up the staircase you’ll find a King Sized bed & memory foam mattress in the Eaves of the property.
