#bookdirect. Rated 4.5/5. Beautiful house in a stunning area with lots of space for all the family. Come and stay and see for yourself. The house sleeps up to 14 plus a baby in a cot Smugglers Rock is a beautiful Georgian property that was built as a temperance inn for the nearby Alum Works back in 1840. It is now a fully restored and comfortable place to stay.
We are a family run property and are constantly upgrading the property to ensure a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests. Enjoy a family get together or a group of friends in this spacious, all en-suite room, house.
Smugglers Rock is situated in the North York Moors National Park. We have beautiful views in all directions from the house - the moors, the coastline and the sea and all are easily accessible.
