About this property
Stirk House Hotel & Restaurant overlooks the historic Ribble Valley in the heart of rural Lancashire. Seasons Restaurant at Stirk House features menus inspired by the remarkable Lancashire landscape, with ingredients sourced from local, artisan producers or foraged from our own 22 acres of grounds. It is a 16th-century manor house surrounded by picturesque views of Pendle Hill, the Forest of Bowland and Yorkshire Dales. The building still retains a magnificent stone-arched fireplace, original ceilings and a priest hole. All of the 33 bedrooms at Stirk House reflect a commitment to comfort and combine character, style and luxury. Visitors can expect rooms equipped with all the customary modern conveniences, with the addition of tea and coffee-making facilities. Golf, fishing and hot air ballooning are all available in the Ribble Valley. The 12th-century Clitheroe Castle is 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel, and the Yorkshire Dales can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.6 for a two-person trip.
