Swansea Log Cabin is a delightful self catering property awarded 4 Stars by Visit Wales Tourist Board. The Cabin overlooks the Swansea Valley and affords a great base for visiting the Brecon Beacons National Park and the beautiful Gower Peninsula. The log cabin is furnished to a very high standard and includes a separate bedroom with luxury Kingsize bed, shower room with WC, fitted kitchen with a full size oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box and a Lounge/dining area. TV with Freeview and DVD. Full Gas Central Heating. Outside there is a decking area with patio furniture and ample parking area to the side.
We have lived here for 28 years and enjoy the village community life with several restaurants, pubs and a local leisure centre with swimming pool. Pontardawe boasts a Theatre (Pontardawe Arts Centre) with cinema and shows We enjoy eating out and using the facilities of the leisure centre.
Swansea Log Cabin is a delightful property overlooking the Swansea Valley and affords a great base for visiting the Brecon Beacons National Park and the beautiful Gower Peninsula. We are only 20 minutes away from Dan yr Ogof Showcaves. Pontardawe Arts Centre is a busy theatre and has varied artists/shows throughout the year. We have a village grocery store that sells local produce and an award winning butcher. For those guests wishing to eat out we have a few local restaurants and pubs and a variety of Indian Restaurants. Pontardawe has a folk festival during the second week of August annually. Quad biking and 4x4 Off Road Driving experiences can be arranged from the property.
