TaighJohn is available for bookings in Spring/Summer 2024! Two bedroom semi detached property in the beautiful village of Cluer in the Bays of Harris. The recently renovated property has a kitchen with stunning views from the breakfast bar facing the patio doors looking out to sea. The open plan living space has a sitting room space which leads to a dining area. Bathroom with large bath and a shower with rainfall shower head and a silent fan. Upstairs is a double bedroom, and second bedroom with two single beds. Outside is a large decking space area with views looking out to sea. Watch the ferry coming in from Skye as you sit at the breakfast bar or outside on the decking. Website will be available soon.
Taigh John was fully renovated by Shonny (John) who owns a construction business in Lewis and Harris. Shonny grew up in the house next door. The original house was built by Shonny’s great Grandfather. The last resident of the house before renovation was a man called John who was a much loved neighbour of the Macleods. John wanted to restore the house which had lain empty for several years.
Cluer is a quiet, friendly, close knit community.
