Tarka Halt 1 is a lovely cedar lodge on a quiet part of Lakeland Leisure park. The lodge is situated directly on otters Lake were a range of watersports and activities take place. The main haven complex is a 10 minute walk away. The park has lovely views of the surrounding countryside and Morcambe bay. Perfectly located in the south lakes and a great base for exploring the surrounding villages and town such as Windermere, Kendal & Ulverston to name a few. The village of Cartmel with its racecourse is around a 15 minute drive from the park. The lodge itself has a welcoming hallway with closet space for coats & shoes along with a washing machine & tumble dryer. The main open plan living space consists of Lounge, dining Room and fully equipped Kitchen with all modern fixtures, fitting & appliances to help with your stay. There are full width doors/windows along the front of the lodge affording spectacular views of the lake and countryside beyond the park. The lodge has full wrap around decking and also a boat Jetty with Glass Balcony all the way around. Complete with Patio Furniture, dining table and BBQ to enjoy those long lazy summer days. The Main bedroom has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and a Tv and also has an ensuite shower room with WC. The second bedroom has a king size bed, Fitted wardrobes & a TV. The main bathroom has a Bath/Shower & WC. The lodge is very spacious and homely and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. All bed linen is provided you would need your own towels.

Haven Lakeland Leisure is a hive of activity with lots going on for all ages. Activities include Archery, Den Building, Segways, Go Carting, High Ropes & much more. Lake activities include, Boating, Kayaking & Paddle Boards. Facilities on park include Bar/Restaurant (Lakeside Bay), Entertainment Venue (Marina Bar), Arcade, Swimming pool, Pappa Johns Pizzas, Fish & Chip Shop & Supermarket. There are also several children's play parks located around the park. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE PLAY PASSES DIRECTLY FROM HAVEN TO BOOK ANY OF THESE ACTIVITIES AS THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE BOOKING PRICE.
