About this property
Sitting on top of Cromer’s spectacular coastline, The Cliftonville Hotel is a cliff-top hotel overlooking Cromer Beach. With all of its rooms having an unrivalled sea view, whether of the sea front or of the famously beautiful Victorian era Cromer Pier. Opened in 1897, this Edwardian Grade II-listed building has an elegant style and an excellent location. Having recently completed a full refurbishment, we have kept the elegant Edwardian character of the building, from stained glass windows to our original grand staircase. Our newly renovated boutique rooms now offer a modern, comfortable and chic getaway. Our onsite restaurant has a seasonally changing menu, we are very passionate about supplying fresh, locally sourced ingredients to support our local businesses as well as provide our guests with the highest quality produce. We have limited onsite parking available at the side and back of the building, as well as the roads surrounding the hotel offering free parking. During the peak seasons, we cannot guarantee parking as it is on a first come first served basis. The Cliftonville is in a prime location, being just a quarter of a mile from the town centre as well as Cromer Pier. With a variety of shops in our lovely town our hotel is in the perfect location. As well as exploring our seaside town, there are many other activities available in nearby towns and villages too such as Sheringham, Holt, Wells-next-the-sea and many more! As well as being on the coast we are located just 23 miles from Norwich City centre. Norwich is one of Britain’s most beautiful historic cities, with The Lanes, Norwich Market and Chantry place being some of the best places in Britain for shopping.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.5 for a two-person trip.
