    Stayed in a beautiful little cottage at the side of the pub it was so tastefully decorated and cute. The staff could not have been more helpful (especially letting us check in early so we could change for a wedding we were attending)

    The location was excellent for us as we had a Wedding at Highley Manor 5mins from there . The room was lovely and cosy and clean. The breakfast was brilliant and the staff couldn’t do enough for you . Would definitely return .

Property information

Originating from the North and London, Will and Michelle arrived at the Cowdray in October 2020. Having taken over the Cowdray in October 2020, it would be fair to say we were not living in normal times. Within weeks of arriving, Boris, put us all into our second lockdown. During this time, Will and Michelle were busy giving the Cowdray some well deserved TLC in preparation for reopening. Before the Cowdray, Will was a successful constructor overseeing projects and staff after coming out of the Military. Now, Will is definitely Chief Barman especially when we have ‘Happy Hour’ behind the bar! Michelle brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in the hospitality industry. Michelle has owned various restaurants including one on the famous King’s Road in London. Of course, you will also have to meet Bertie, Flo and Autumn as they are the resident animals of the Cowdray.
