Welcome to The Folly, a self catering holiday home. Set in a beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty on The Hangers in the South Downs National Park. With some amazing views seen from your own 20 meter deck. You will have complete privacy, in this beautiful location. We live in a dark skies area. So at night you get to see the stars, while enjoying the hot-tub. Which is available for an extra fee, along with the fire pit. The Folly has folding doors to the front so that you have that wonderful view to look out on, whatever the weather. As well as the local wild life. There is an open plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has an electric shower, wc and hand basin, towels are provided. The bedroom has a double bed and bedside tables. Breakfast ingredients are provided free for you to use on your first morning. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics. Locally made bread can be provided see(www.realbreadandfood.co.uk), if required and ordered. Please let me know if you require a vegetarian option?
Froxfield village is the highest in Hampshire at 750 feet above sea level. We are also known as Little Switzerland. Some mornings you can wake up and be above the clouds! Our neighbor is the Edward Barnsley Workshop. Which makes unique arts and crafts furniture. The lane goes off into the Hangers (woods). And is well known for walking/rambling paths. There are many good walks in this area, and very good pubs at the end. Cockshott Lane is very well known for being the home of the 1st WW poet Edward Thomas. On the side of the hill at the end of the lane the is a memorial stone to him.
