This is a recently converted grade2 listed building, which originally was the bottling store of the late Beard's brewery, positioned right in the heart of Lewes, just 5 minutes walk from bus stops and 8 minutes walk from the station. The property has 2 double bedrooms with NEW zip link beds so they can be doubles or 2 singles in each room. A well equipped shower room with overhead and hand shower, toilet and washbasin with a heated towel rail.The living room has a double sofa bed which can sleep another 2 people, plus another sofa. There is a dining table to seat 6,a well equipped kitchen with oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. The property has full gas central heating, with a CO2 monitor and a smoke monitor.
We had a wholefood shop in Lewes for 32 years and also manufactured soya products in the building which is now completely revamped to a holiday let, since we are too old to keep manufacturing! So we would be very happy to welcome you.
Lewes is the county town of East Sussex and is very pretty with lots of parks and gardens to enjoy, also the castle is a good viewpoint for the surrounding areas. We also have many excellent pubs, most of which serve very good food. Our property is close to The Lewes Arms, one of the oldest pubs in Lewes.
