This unique and stylish seaside home is the perfect place to rest and relax. With incredible views of the Irish Sea, a short walk to the beach and perfectly located for the coast to coast walk and trips to the beautiful lakes. A carefully restored and converted Methodist chapel dating back to the 1800’s. Now a luxury holiday home; the space consists of a large open plan living area that has a luxury modern kitchen with full appliances and American style fridge freezer with water & ice machine, alongside a comfortable dining area for 6. The main living area has a staircase leading up to the mezzanine which is a relaxing and peaceful space to enjoy breathtaking views of the Irish Sea. A second staircase leads down to the lower level where there is one main double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a further double bedroom, a separate shower room and a boot room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer and direct access to the outside - perfect for kicking of those muddy boots after a long coastal walk.
Hi, I’m Laura! I’m a frequent traveller & more recently a host as the proud owner of The Little Cumbrian Chapel. The Chapel has a long family history for me, with my great-great grandfather once being the lay preacher. I was born in St. Bees & have many childhood memories of the chapel, so when it went up for sale it was a unique opportunity to restore the building & keep it linked to our family. I now live in East London with my son.
