The Livery is a converted stable that has been restored to the highest standard with furnishings by DeVol, Neptune and Tom Raffield. It offers modern facilities for a luxury stay including a superking bed, underfloor heating, parking and EV charging. Located off the Oxford Road the barn offers instant access to the rolling hills and honey-stoned cottages of the Cotswolds plus a convenient route into Oxford. Burford's historical high street and a number of excellent country pubs are close by.
Hi there, we love offering people a lovely space to stay that offers pared back luxury and a chance to relax. I studied English as an undergrad way back in the day at Goldsmiths and I also have a Masters in Creative Writing from West Dean College, so I write too! My partner, Drew (Andrew), is a furniture design graduate from Ravensbourne (again back in the day!) and deals in antiques and art. We have 3 grown up children and 2 rescue pets. Keepers of The Livery are Skip and Drew. We can both be contacted in the event of any questions or enquiries.
