Located in the centre of Whitby, The Loft is a stylish one bedroom apartment perfect for romantic getaways. Featuring sloped ceilings, exposed beams and skylight windows, the property has plenty of charm. You’ll have full access to the apartment during your stay which includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a cosy living space, a bedroom and a modern bathroom. Perfectly situated, The Loft is just a short stroll from the beach, promenade and all of the shops, restaurants and cafes on offer. Please note the apartment is located on the top floor and the building doesn’t have a lift so it may not be suitable for those less physically able.

Neighbourhood information

Located on the West side of Whitby, The Loft is just a short stroll from the Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade. On Pier Road, you’ll find fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants where you can sample the catch of the day. The other side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques and pubs. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
