The Old Stable is a beautiful bijou one bedroomed end terrace cottage, combining traditional features with contemporary design set in the heart of the bustling market town of Shifnal. It provides delightfully chic yet cosy accommodation for up to two guests. Discreetly tucked away, yet located in the heart of town, it is just moments away from the local pubs, restaurants and shops and directly opposite the train station. Nearby attractions include Telford (6.8k), Ironbridge(9K), Weston Park (5k), Cosford (7K), Shrewsbury (20m) and Birmingham (30m). A great place to base yourselves for exploring what the West Midlands has to offer or a cosy hideaway to retreat for a few days.
Hi, Im Sarah. I live in Telford with my partner, Damian. The Old Stable was my home for 12 years and I love it dearly. I wanted to share the happiness it bought me for so many years with others and promote the local area and all it has to offer. I work in the Black Country as a Housing Manager, it is a very rewarding job but my absolute passion is running. I run for Wolverhampton and Bilston AC and most weekends you'll find me either training or racing. It is my escape and joy. I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing stay at The Old Stables and if there is anything that I can assist or advise you with during your stay or before you arrive, please do not hesitate to contact me and i will be on hand to help.
Nestled behind a row of shops, not visible from the road, The Old Stable is flanked by traditional residential dwellings that have been converted over the years. Very friendly neighbours, who will make any guest feel like friends. On the main road there is a wealth of coffee shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and convenience stores for every need to be catered for. Plus directly opposite The Old Stable is the train station connection you instantly to the nation rail network.
