The Stables is run by Kenelm Hospitality Limited, owned by the Kenelm Youth Trust. We run two retreat centres based in Alton, Staffordshire aimed at providing children and young people with new experiences. Set close to the heart of the village of Alton and only a few minutes drive to Alton Towers this is an ideal base to explore what this area of Staffordshire has to offer.

Property information

This very well presented, detached bungalow close to the centre of the pretty village of Alton, near to the Peak District and just a mile away (by car) from Alton Towers Theme Park and Peak Wildlife Centre. The property features one king size bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with ensuite facilities sleeping 4 people although, fold out Z-beds can be provided for larger families. Ideal for families with free private parking and garden space. Lovely large rooms, consisting of living room with satellite TV, log burner, separate dining room, kitchen with built in cooker and hob and slimline dishwasher. Free Wi-Fi and outdoor patio area. Located in the Dimmingsdale valley with excellent access to footpaths and routes, approximately 1 mile from Ramblers Retreat and walking distance to three village pubs including the neighbouring Bridge Hotel and The Talbot pub.

Neighbourhood information

Set in the pretty village of Alton, on the eastern slopes of the Churnet Valley. It is a sizable village with a rich history that includes Roman, Saxon, and Victorian influences. The Stables is within walking distance of all village amenities' and very close to two village pubs.
