Property information

The Threshing Barn is a wonderful new barn conversion in the beautiful South Devon countryside with views over the large garden and across the beautiful Avon valley to rolling fields beyond. The living space is contemporary, stylish and comfortable with underfloor heating throughout and really gives a real sense of peace and tranquility.

Neighbourhood information

The small hamlet of Higher Hatch is ideally placed to visit the local area. Only a couple of miles outside the market town of Kingsbridge, you will be able to reach the local beaches at Bantham and Bigbury on Sea within a 15 minute drive. Thurlestone, Hope Cove and Salcombe are a short drive away. The naval town of Dartmouth is a 30 minute drive and you can easily reach Dartmoor within an hour. Totnes also a 30 minute drive with fast rail links to Bristol and London. There are beautiful countryside walks on the doorstep, we recommend walking to Aune Valley cafe for their famous full English breakfast, the farm shop is next door with a butchery and delicatessen. Less than a mile/20 minute walk to Churchstow where there’s a welcoming pub, post office and convenience store.
