The Wharfe is a ground floor self contained, self catering and fully insulated property, that has recently been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard within the main house of Greystones. With its own independent access, The Wharfe boasts many features that include a fully fitted kitchen, large shower and comfortable King Size bed, breakfast/dining table and chairs. If however you prefer to eat out, The Buck Inn opposite provides good wholesome food for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is also available but needs to be booked in advance the day before. Contact Jo and Jeremy on the number provided in the Welcome Information Pack or through their website. Pets are welcome with a pack containing dog bowls and a dog bed. Towels are also provided in the event of a soggy walk! Car parking is on site and there is an EV charger for guests to use. There is parking on site for 3 cars, including an EV charger (7 kw/hour) for guests to use. Also there is additional free parking on the adjacent road, opposite the Buck Inn.
Happy to help in any way we can to make your stay truly memorable. We are delighted to recommend places to eat and drink, share circular walks from the doorstep and highlight places of interest in the surrounding area and further afield. The Wharfe is a place to do as little or as much as you wish.
There are several delightful pubs to experience at the beginning, during or end of a host of circular walks from the doorstep. Starbotton and Kettlewell are within walking distance and Grassington is the nearest town. Slightly further afield is Skipton. In the opposite direction, you will find the market towns of Hawes and Leyburn, both a delight to visit and the drive there is an experience in itself. The beauty of The Wharfedale Valley is a desirable destination all year round and even in the height of Summer, it doesn't feel crowded.
