A ten minute lane walk from Millbrook and from the big sandy beach at Whitsand Bay via a cliff path is Tregonhawke Farmhouse, the origins of which go back to the 16th cent. Set over two levels, sleeping twelve in six bedrooms – two double, a family, two twin and a single. Big fitted farmhouse kitchen with table, chairs and benches in the middle, equally big living room with wood burner, separate TV room. At ground level is a shower-room and separate toilet. Upstairs, two family bathrooms. To one side is a very pretty, enclosed garden with large lawn, garden furniture and BBQ. Mature trees and farmland surround it and about a three minutes walk away there is a coarse fishing lake (carp, tench, roach, rudd, bream and perch – some as large as 25lbs!). Note: Beach parking available in owner's field above Whitsand Bay, by arrangement. 'Day care' for dogs available. Please contact Owner directly to arrange. Payment must be made to the Owner 6 weeks before your This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of 350Note: No Stag or Hen partiesFishing at the lake will no longer be free to guests. We are restricting fishing to 5 paying customers with nobody else accompanying. Booking and payment for fishing (10 per person per day with access only between 0800 and 1800 hours) must be made in advance. There will be no refund of payment if the person decides to The 'Children's Room' listed on the floor plan is now a 2nd sitting/TV room.

Set in a bowl of hills at the head of a tidal creek that leads to the Hamoaze, opposite the great naval city of Plymouth, Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula, "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". Bounded by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is deeply rural and designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
