On Wales' west coast, you may find the historic market town of Aberystwyth. With a name that translates to "the mouth of the river Ystwyth" and a location on Wales' west coast, it offers a wealth of gorgeous waterways ideal for watersports or just a summertime stroll along the Victorian promenade. There is something for every taste in the town's extensive selection of stores, eateries, pubs, tea rooms, museums, cinemas, and the National Library of Wales. The Ystwyth Trail, a magnificent 20-mile bike and walk connecting Aberystwyth to Tregaron, along a lovely river and woodland.
