Bridlington is a seaside resort in Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning golden sand beaches flank the busy, historic harbour. Beautifully designed promenades offer everything from rides to quiet spots to people watch. While the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment, the shops, attractions, restaurants, and historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington provide an intriguing contrast to life on the beach. The East Riding Leisure Centre has a family swimming pool and other indoor activities. The Yorkshire Wolds, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby, and the spectacular heritage coastline are all within easy reach. Visit Bempton's RSPB bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke, and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves. A great place to tour or enjoy the birds and nature.
