About this property

With an indoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi, York House has a stunning seafront position. It is less than 400 metres from the pier, and only 20 metres from the gently sloping beach. The Victorian Best Western York House Hotel has been family-run since 1896. Eastbourne’s shops and theatres can be reached in around 10 minutes’ walk. Guests can relax on the sea-view terrace, and enjoy cocktails. Drinks are also offered at Verandah Bar, and good food and wine is available in the dining room. Limited on-street car-parking in front of the hotel may be available (at an additional cost), with a discount voucher to be collected at check-in.     We booked a deluxe king size and it was just that. Comfy four-poster bed in a huge room with a lovely bay-window over-looking the sea and a jacuzzi in the ample en-suite bathroom. Excellent coffee and tea. Genuinely good!
