The building was fully renovated in 2020 and is welcoming its guests in brand new rooms with unique character each one. From vibrant coffee places to minimal restaurants and taverns, it offers a variety of choices. Its stylish shops, proximity to the Acropolis museum and laid back vibe make it one of the best non-touristy neighborhoods in Athens. One of Koukaki’s highlights is the blend of architectural styles it contains. With its mismatch of neoclassical houses, low-rise buildings dating from the 1930s and post-1970s apartment blocks, Koukaki includes small shops, traditional restaurants, art galleries, museums and colourful bars and cafes.
