The chalet is on 1.300 m altitude & it has great mountain peaks view (2.100 m altitude) Chalet 105sqm on 12,000sqm land & it is surrounded by a fir tree forest. Ground floor 55 sqm includes living room with fireplace, kitchen, dining room, bedroom, WC, 1st floor 50sqm includes 2 master bedrooms. two covered balconies (10sqm each) one veranda (32sqm) Type: log house by KONTIO, 18cm round log.
Loving adventurous travels & escapes, as well as climbing, canyoning, river trekking, skiing, rafting, mountain bike, we decided to build a log house at 1.300m altitude, as a shelter (Katafygio in Greek) to enjoy all these activities. Now we are happy to share our experience with friends and guests in a friendly environment.
The village KRIKELLO with 2 taverns, 1 coffee bar & 1 little market is 3km away. Other nearby villages are DOMNISTA (12km), SYGRELLO (5km) & ANIADA. KARPENISSI, the capital of Evrytania is about 23km away. Close by attractions TSOUMA peak, PANAGIA old church, KRIKELLOPOTAMOS river, KOKKALIA the area where Greeks fought Gauls on 279 BC. Longer trips, around 30 to 40 km away, is PANTABREXI gorge! Karpenisi SKI CENTER & the wellknown Monastery of PROUSSOS.
