Property information
The LGK Mansion, constructed in 1920 by a prominent shipbuilding family, stands as a testament to the rich architectural heritage of Andros island.
Over the decades, this residence has been meticulously maintained and cherished by successive generations, who have managed to accentuate its distinctive fusion of neoclassical and Cycladic architectural styles.
It is 200 sq.m. and is divided into 2 levels.
First level.
Ascending the staircase beyond the grand wrought iron door adorned with the family's emblem, visitors are welcomed onto a sunlit terrace offering views of the sea and lush verdant gardens of the village.
Upon entering, visitors are greeted by an elegant open plan dining and lounge area adorned with period furnishings ,ornate chandeliers, comfortable sofa ,a marvelous vintage flooring and paintings depicting the maritime heritage of the family.
To the right of the entrance, a fully equipped kitchen welcomes you with its inviting ambiance. Bright and comfortable, fully equipped and furnished with a traditional sofa and a dining table.
Exiting from the kitchen area through a discreet door, guests step into the enchanting backyard of the LGK Mansion, where an iron dining set awaits perfect for al fresco dining. Here, amidst the fragrant blooms and verdant foliage of the garden, visitors can indulge in the tranquil beauty of their surroundings and listen to the soothing melody of the house's private spring.
In the yard there is also a separate bathroom with shower.
Second level.
Access is either from the living room area with an internal wooden staircase or from the terrace with an external staircase.

The LGK Mansion is nestled in the picturesque village of Mesathοuri, situated within the Lamyra region, just a scenic 15-minute drive (approximately 7.5 km) from the charming capital of Andros, Chora.
The mansion boasts a privileged vantage point, offering views of the shimmering Aegean sea and the skyline of Chora.
The nearest beaches—Niborio, Gialia, and Piso Gialia—are easily accessible, located just 6.5 km away.
The port of Gavrio, is 36 km far from the LGK Mansion.
Mesathοuri itself is situated on a gentle slope , a haven of tranquility and natural beauty, characterized by its lush greenery, dotted with cypress and fruit trees.
Strolling through its ancient winding stone paths, you will encounter well-kept houses with loving yards adorned with colorful blooms, many chapels dotting the landscape, scattered beautiful sources of drinking water.
You will also encounter the signposted Andros Routes trails no. 1 and no. 10.
