The Villa Katikia-Gonia is one of the most exclusive villas in Crete, Rethymno. The architectural design, the professional service and its comfort size contribute to a rare blend of hospitality service in an environment of natural beauty and discreet luxury. The Private villa Gonia offers one of the most beautiful vacation home in Crete and may easily compare to other hotels, luxury villas, cottages and holiday home in Crete. The architectural style, elegant furnishings and modern amenities create a truly enchanting atmosphere, meeting the expectations of the most demanding visitor.
Since we were younger, we wanted to build a home to host people...we finally did it and we like it because we have the opportunity to make friendships from different parts of the world. We also like to travel as a family and acquire knowledge, images and in the end memories. We will be happy to host you in our villa.
Villa Katikia-Gonia is located just 8km from Rethymno, in the village of Gonia. The Green landscape surrounds the house and the view towards the mountains of southern and western Crete is superb. The surroundings are perfect for hiking in gorges of wild beauty, green paths and along charming streams. The fertile olive groves and vineyards provide a great track for your running, your cycling and your short hikes. In the surrounding area, there are hospitable small villages where you will be able to taste the famous Cretan hospitality of the friendly people of this place. A cup of coffee under a mulberry tree together with the people of the village, or reading your book will be images return to you after your holidays. The northern beaches are just a fifteen-minute drive away, and the exotic southern beaches are a thirty-minute drive, so guests are spoilt for choice!
