About this property
This beachfront hotel is situated in a 30,000-m² area right above Akrotiri peninsula, where the famous movie Zorba The Greek was filmed. It offers self-catered rooms a few steps from the sandy beach, with free WiFi and furnished terraces. A large swimming pool and a playground are featured. The traditionally decorated studios and apartments of Zorbas offer views over the Cretan Sea. Each unit has a well-equipped kitchenette with microwave and fridge, and is further equipped with a satellite LCD TV. A safe, a hairdryer and iron are available. The apartments also feature a fireplace. Guests can relax at the sun loungers by the pool and enjoy a drink, a refreshing cocktail or a Mediterranean meal prepared with fresh ingredients, at the poolside bar-restaurant overlooking the sea. Younger guests can enjoy themselves at the children's pool, while special events of traditional Cretan dancing are organized occasionally at the pool area. An outdoor chess board is also included. Hotel Zorbas Apartments & Studios is located 11 km from the airport and only 14 km from Chania Town. The area is close to historical and archaeological sites. Staff at the front desk can organize excursions around Crete, provide maps and information on the area and can help arrange car rental to explore the island.
