Calma is a detached, newly renovated stone villa in a cul-de-sac, situated in Gabonjin, a village in the centre of the island. It is away from crowded beaches and only a short drive away from principal towns of the island – Krk, Vrbnik, Malinska, Baska. Calma features a private 8x4 metre pool with counter-stream and underwater lights, a 250 sq.m. lawned garden area, a traditional barbeque (Croatian ‘peka’), and private parking for 2 cars. The village is in a residential area of the island – it is peaceful, with beautiful rosemary and lavender scent always hanging in the air. A convenience store is located a couple of minutes walk from the villa; for bigger shopping, supermarkets are only 3km away. The ground floor has an open-air living room looking out to the south-facing patio and the pool area, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms and the master bathroom. One of the bedrooms and the master bathroom offer a direct access to the south-facing terrace with a view over the pool area. The villa is air-conditioned, with free wi-fi throughout the property and the garden area. Safety box is also available.

Hi dear traveler, I am Ana. I live in beautiful Croatia where I host two houses. I am also an avid traveler where I am usually choosing off the beaten track in order to meet interesting people, discover colors, tastes and sounds of the country. I am renting a very unique stone house on the island of Krk away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Gabonjin is a small village with less than 200 inhabitants. It is a very peaceful place perfect for relaxing after a stressful day to day life. Close to the house (50 m) you may find a local shop where you can get the basic groceries . Only 3 km away you have big grocery shops. This tiny little village is in the middle of the island and therefore in the vicinity of all island beaches and attractions. Use the opportunity to explore a variety of beaches during your stay. Beaches are open for public, no fees apply. If you have a boat driving license you may rent a speed boat and enjoy the beauty of hidden beaches. Find your favorite spot. :) The house is a real oasis where you can enjoy some down time. However, if you wish to socialize, plenty of bars, restaurants and live music is only few minutes away. There are several walking trails at the island. The trails provide unique experience due to a very interesting vegetation. If bicycle is your favorite sports gear then Krk is a great place to be. Over 50 bike trails run through the magnificent landscape. Nearby the house (walking distance) you have a historical landmark 'Glagolitic Park'.
