Stunning views overlooking Teelin Bay to the front and Sliabh Liag mountain to the rear. The visitor centre is just 5 minutes drive from the house. You can choose to park and walk to the top or take one of the shuttle buses. Sliabh Liag boat trips provide trips to view the cliffs during the summer months from Teelin Pier, weather permitting. Traditional music is played in the local pubs a number of evenings each week. Local restaurants include the Rusty Mackerel and Chinese and Indian takeaways in the village. There are also a number of good restaurants 9 Km away in Glencolmcille. Killybegs has a few very good seafood restaurants and cafes. There are many trails and walks and local guides provide walking tours in the area. The folk museum in Glencolmcille is a must see, as is the beautiful Silver Strand and Malinbeg. For the more adventurous, a trip along the winding road to Port is recommended. This is an abandoned fishing village with stunning sea views. The road to Port is fairly narrow...
