Just 500 metres North of Carlow in a quiet mature area (a 10-minute stroll), Avlon House Bed and Breakfast is an ideal base for touring the South-East of Ireland. This award-winning bed and breakfast house offers free WiFi, free secure parking with CCTV. Awarded a Highly Commended status by the AA, Avlon House Bed and Breakfast is Carlow Town's only B&B to be awarded a 4-star classification by both the AA & Irish Tourist Board Failte Ireland. Each room at Avlon House boasts a private bathroom with a power shower and a wide range of free toiletries and bathroom amenities. Rooms also include a TV, tea/coffee facilities, a hairdryer and mineral water. Room rates may be cheaper on longer stays. Guests can relax on the patio amongst the water features and enjoy the barbecue snack menu. There is also a log cabin with board games for smokers to use.
