With original wooden beams, stone walls, and cozy fireplaces, this peaceful retreat invites you to unwind and reconnect with nature. A short drive from the local village and scenic hiking trails, it’s an ideal base for exploring West Cork’s natural beauty. No suitable for children under 10 years.
Welcome to Ballyvourney cottage which has been in my family lineage for over 250 years. I grew up in this farmhouse and take pride in welcoming tourists and visitors alike to the beautifully restored farmhouse, untouched rural landscape, and the local village of Ballyvourney.
Ballyvourney village is a 5 minute drive away and has all your essential amenities including small grocery stores (e.g. centra), cafe, bookstore, church, the Mills Inn restaurant and the Abbey Hotel and restaurant. Macroom is the closest town with all your necessary amenities and is a 15 minute drive away.
