Private peaceful location in the midst of small farming community. Ideal holiday home for families with children. Also great for small groups of friends. Beautiful romantic retreat for couples ❤❤ Equally suitable for solo adventurers. We have also hosted business groups. In fact an all round perfect retreat. All bed linen, towels and toiletries provided. A travel cot available for anyone with babies. There is also a spare mattress if an extra guest wants to come along.
Set in the picturesque countryside 9 miles from Kilkenny Medieval City, 35 minutes from Mount Juliet Estate, midway between Dublin & Cork (12 minutes from M8 motorway, 35 minutes from Rock of Cashel & 50 minutes from Waterford City. We are on the Kilkenny cycling trail & there are many loop walks & hill walks surrounding the pretty villages nearby.
I am a mom of two teenage girls. I have worked in Banking for past 30 years and more recently have opened my own Natural Health Business. My house in Gathabawn, in North County Kilkenny is built on my family farm. It is a fabulous getaway and great spot to unwind in. It's a little oasis of calm. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Xx
