Property information
Nayalap's Paathar House was originally built as a stop for villagers going to the forests to graze their cattle and livestock. It was situated at the edge of the forest, with the village not far from it. Built from stone, it originally had a fireplace and a bedroom.
Now, it has been lovingly restored by the members of the family, and a large dining room and kitchen have been added to it along with an ensuite bathroom. This will be supplemented by Nayalap's signature service and Kumaoni cuisine.
If you want a romantic getaway like none other, one that is as exclusive as exclusive gets, stay at the Paathar House. It's set in an apricot orchard right next to the forest. In autumn, the Himalayas open up just in front of you. In the winter, there is your fireplace to warm your hands over. In the spring, revel in the apricot blossoms. In the summer, pluck apricots from the trees.
This place is magnificent in every season.
