Amidst greenery and constructed in red brick Terra Cottage stands out as a unique property in Andretta. Its name draws inspiration from the pottery for which Andretta is renowned. The mud, wood and tile finishes in its interiors complemented by bamboo and wood furniture draw you closer to nature .
My interests are broad ranging and varied , but include pottery which is the reason for being drawn to Andretta. However, my career was in the civil services and have always had a passion and interest in gender and development . That continues. Have had some experience in hosting as my husband and I also have a home stay in Lahaul and Spiti , named Gemoorkhar . That experience has led me to thinking of hosting people here too!
There are many places and things to do in the immediate vicinity - from visiting the Shobha Singh Art Gallery , to trying your hand at pottery at Andretta Pottery . to tea tasting at the Wah Tea estate and going for a forested walk up to Nadli . Further afield you can visit Baijath , where there is a famous Shiv Temple and Bir where you can go paragliding . There are many famous Buddhist monasteries in the neighbourhood . In the opposite direction once can visit Dharamsala and Mcleodganj , where His Holiness, the Dalai Lama resides , Kangra fort and Kangra temple too
