A cozy and quiet brand new apartment in the heart of the Oltretorrente, an historic and authentic district of Parma close to the city center. At guests disposal a complete and equipped kitchen, bedroom with double bed and living area with sofa bed, a delightful terrace overlooking the street with a view of the basilica. A few steps from Piazza Picelli, via Farini, Piazza Garibaldi and the main restaurants and monuments of the city.

The apartment is located in Borgo San Giuseppe, in one of the quietest areas of the Oltretorrente. To refer to this district, the people of Parma say "beyond the water", because to reach it you have to cross the Parma river, which divides the historic center of the city. The "Oltretorrente" is an historic and popular district, with an authentic soul, lively and full of restaurants, typical taverns, bars, wine bars and pubs. From the central via D'Azeglio to piazza Picelli, passing through the "parco Ducale" and continuing along via Bixio, there are several places of interest. The apartment is at the corner with "via della Salute" a street built on the recommendation of the Duchess Luisa Maria di Berry in 1856, unmistakable with its houses of many different colors. Just 9 minutes on foot you are on the other side of the city, in "via Farini" gateway to the most commercial and tourist center of the city. This area is also full of restaurants (perhaps a little more touristy) and shops for shopping. Continuing for a few more minutes you will arrive in the splendid Piazza Duomo.
