Company information

We have been active since 2004 and have gained profound experience in welcoming guests from all parts of the world. The main feature of our structure is peace and quiet and is therefore appreciated by anyone who wants to spend a holiday away from the frenetic and deafening rhythms of the cities.

Property information

The Agriturismo Il Polveraio is located in the Tuscan countryside with a stunning view on the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea and the Tuscan Archipelago. In our farm we grow olive trees, some of which are centuries old, and we produce a very good extra virgin olive oil. The agritourism structure is divided into three completely independent housing units, including two studios and a large three-room apartment. The main house is a historical building from XI century a.c..

Neighbourhood information

We are located in the open countryside, in the middle of our olive grove, but very close to the town of Montescudaio where there are small shops selling typical local food products, bars, excellent restaurants and pizzerias. The most beautiful beaches of the Etruscan Coast are just a few minutes away by car, as are boarding harbors to visit the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago: Elba, Capraia, Giglio. Very close to us are: the Etruscan city of Volterra, rich in its historical and artistic heritage; Pisa with its monumental beauties of the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Tower; the most beautiful cities of art such as Florence, Siena and Lucca; the fascinating historic port city of Livorno; the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico directed by Andrea Bocelli. Due to the natural conformation of our territory, our guests find trekking and cycling tourism excursions very welcome. In our facility all pets have always been welcome. Our apartments are all served by Wi-Fi.
