We live on the top two floors of a Liberty style villa built in the first decade of the 20th century.The house was completely renovated in 1999. In 2000 we opened up our house & started our (1 room) B&B experience. During these past years we have accommodated & got to know persons from all over the world, all of them very different. Nearly all of them though had the curiosity of a traveller whom is not happy with the superficial outlook of the typical tourist.
We are a hospitable and friendly Italian-German family. We welcome our guests with cordiality and respect for their privacy. If desired we are glad to give information about special places, traditional celebrations and other local events in order to let you have a lively and more authentic impression and make your holiday in Venice a unique event.
Lido di Venezia - The Beach of Venice Its position in the Lagoon makes Lido an excellent choice of stay for its proximity to Venice. From S.Maria Elisabetta (island's centre) transport can be taken to all parts of the lagoon: Saint Marks square 10 minutes; Santa Lucia train station 35 minutes; Marco Polo Airport 50 minutes; the islands of Murano, Burano, Torcello....) Our house lies exactly in the centre of Lido, only 3 minutes walk from Piazzale S. Maria Elisabetta where all water services: water-buses; taxis & ferry-boats arrive from & leave to Venice & the mainland. We are also only 5 minutes walk from the beach.
