It was once the home of a wealthy Jewish oil merchant family, whose ancestor, Gianfilippo Calò, was known as "Il Magnifico." The hotel preserves the charm and beauty of the past, while its name honors the building’s origins in the former Jewish quarter of Polignano a Mare. In Hebrew, "Bayit" means "home," reflecting the hotel’s essence—a place of warmth and elegance designed to offer unforgettable experiences and create lasting memories. From the Bayit terrace, you can inhale the fresh sea breeze and lose yourself in the endless horizon.
