Casa Ermelinda is an historic building dating back to 1800: our family mansion, a place full of memories. Recently it has undergone to a deep renovation that has kept the original structure and the external Pompeian pink color; inside, the big apartments are equipped with all comforts and a touch of modern. Every accommodation, accessible through a staircase (29 steps for the apartment with balcony and 6 steps for the apartment on the ground floor), consists of a big double bedroom, a dining room with a sofa bed, a bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. The courtyard takes to a beautiful sea view garden, equipped with barbecue and solarium: it is in common use for all guests of Casa Ermelinda. Private parking available just by the accomodation (Please be aware that the final part of the route - via I Traversa Pigna-, is particularly narrow and sloped up. We are in Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, part of Massa Lubrense municipality. The favorable location of Casa Ermelinda allows you to reach the most rewarding tourist destinations within one hour, either by car of by train. From beautiful beaches like Marina del Cantone and Puolo to the fiord of Crapolla and Jeranto Bay accessible on foot; from the Amalfi Coast to Capri and then Pompei and Faito mountain by cableway. Perhaps if you long to wander around, off from the beaten track, plenty of nature trails are available. In the surroundings there are a lot of shops especially groceries: in the morning you will be awaken by the flavors of fresh baked cornetti, biscuits and bread. You will also find a nice delicatessen where you can taste the typical products of the area. And if you want to get the most on the culinary side, the offer is really wide as it ranges from cheese tasting and hands-on lessons to pizza making, or wine tasting or simply sitting at a table of a nice restaurant; there is a huge number of Michelin starred restaurants but also wonderful trattoria.
