Casavabene is a peaceful and beautiful accommodation located in the green hills of Piemonte, offering an apartment, a studio, and a cottage surrounded by a large garden for a relaxing holiday experience. The nearby village of Murazzano provides convenience along with attractions like a medieval tower, small supermarket with a bakery, restaurants, and cafes. Guests can choose between the Capriolo cottage, Tasso studio, or Cinghiale apartment, each named after forest inhabitants, all comfortably furnished for two people with their own terraces. The area offers opportunities for hiking, cycling, enjoying delicious food, and wine tasting in nearby wine regions as well as visits to picturesque villages, beaches, ski resorts, and cities like Turin, Genoa, and Milan. Casavabene is highly recommended for a tranquil and enjoyable stay in Piemonte.
We are Harry and Martine Sikkema and from the beginning of December 2023 we are the proud owners of Casavabene. We are originally from the Netherlands and before we moved to Murazzano we have lived in many places in the Netherlands and abroad. We love being outdoors. Harry likes cycling, mountain biking and swimming. Martine likes to hike or to work in her own (vegetable) garden. We are looking forward meeting you at Casavabene!
Casavabene is located in Alta Langa, Le Langhe, Piedmont., an area of rolling hills, vineyards and picturesque villages. An area where you can enjoy nature and delicious wine, hazelnuts, truffles and cheese in all seasons. The wine landscapes of the Langhe, together with those of Roero and Monferrato, are on Unesco's world heritage list. The village of Murazzano is about 3.5 km from Casavabene. Due to its location at 793 metres, Murazzano can be seen from afar and the view of the surroundings from the village is beautiful. Murazzano is located on several routes and is therefore frequently visited by passing hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists and motorists. This creates a cosy atmosphere. There are some terraces, a shop with a bakery, a pasticceria and two good restaurants. A visit to the village is definitely worthwhile!
