La Bottega di zia Tetta is an emotional Luxury Home, a corner of beauty where every object tells a story and every room speaks of a remarkable woman. Born in 1933 in a small village in Southern Italy, zia Tetta grew up within the walls of a bustling shop that, during the war, served as the beating heart of the community. From a very young age, she cared for the house and the emporium, transforming everything around her with tireless hands and boundless imagination: she embroidered, sewed, crafted, reinvented. Her refined sense of beauty—sequins, fans, and perfumes—soon became her signature style. At just 17, she moved to Rome, where she lived for over sixty years alongside her beloved husband, nurturing her passion for design, creative reuse, and handmade crafts. Every object she collected held a piece of her world, full of style, wit, and love for authenticity. When she returned to her village, she transformed her home into a workshop of wonders and memories. Today, that home has become a charming retreat. Over 80% of the furnishings come from reclaimed items, flea markets, and creatively reinvented pieces—all reflecting zia Tetta’s original spirit.
